Alaska

Alaska

Alaska - I took loads of photos with my phone which you can view here but only a few with my camera maybe it was the large amount of rain or just that sometimes lugging around a large camera is not always what I am up for. I enjoy not always documenting ever little thing and sometimes with a camera swung around my neck its makes it hard not to always be snapping photos. But I manage to snap a few shots from our first few days in Alaska.

We camped along with way from Anchorage to Homer and those are the shots of the lake on our first morning in Alaska. The coldest night ever but the best view to wake up to. We stayed at our friends Jordan and Thorey's land for a couple nights before heading into a small cabin closer to town. While staying up on the ridge at Thorey's we spent a night in a small cabin on her parents land with the most epic view ever. Those are the shots of sleepy and wide eyed Owynn.

The trip was a blast I am not really going to get into the details but lets just say I totally fell in love with Alaska but most of loved seeing my friends world up there and a little peek into what a magical place it must of been to grow up in.  We meet such wonderful people. The wedding was magical and in the rain. It was great in every way and we all left loving Alaska and feeling so grateful for all the amazing friends we have in our lives.

Coming home is always hard. Tomorrow I am slowly getting back to work in the studio. Tonight I managed to finally add the Everyday Tote to my shop which I had been meaning to do for awhile. So now it is available and will be the beginning of a couple new fall items I am releasing later this month.

Happy Mid-Week!
