This time of year as I have mentioned many time before this island doubles in size. The restaurants, parks, roads, beaches and ferry lines are all over flowing with people. It is great because it really helps our economy and is great seeing people out and about enjoying this pretty place but at times it can get a little overwhelming.

Most of the year this island is very quiet and you do not see another soul on a walk at the beach or when you drive into town. So during these busy times we try and take advantage of a few secret spots we know about. Just for a quick dip to hit the reset button and then get on with the rest of our day. There truly is nothing better then a jump in the cold ocean to get your energy back again. Enjoy your week and hopeful you can find a secret spot in your neighborhood to relax and be in the moment for awhile!
