summertime

Well its been way to long since I have checked into the blog world. It is often on the top of my list each day and then somehow it never happens. Summer is defined by chaos around these parts. Our mornings are slow and our evenings our longs. We do not usually begin cooking dinner until 7 and then sit down if we are lucky by 7:30 to eat and talk about the days happenings. Afterwards it is either more garden work (watering, feeding chickens ect..) or if we are lucky a bath or walk. Then its time for the little one to settle down around 9 and then if I do not fall asleep beside him I get an hour or 2 of sewing done before we start the whole day over again. Anyway life is good, no real subject to this post just living life and here are a few shots from this week that I thought you might enjoy.

How is your summer? Crazy too?

This week I have begun listening to book-on-tapes while sewing, not sure why I did not start sooner. NPR is getting to depressing so it was time to switch it up. I am listening to this one right now and excited to hear this book and this one too! Any good summer reads you would recommend?
