Flowers

The flowers are finally blooming! Mostly my perennials are opening up but I can see that that annuals are not far behind. Each year the perennials get taller and more grand. The poppies seem to change color each summer which is pretty fun to see. For so long the flower beds in front of our cabin stand green but for a few short months each year there is an explosion of color. It is  quite pleasing to look at and watch its change over the past 3 years. I have always dreamed of being a flower "farmer," bringing my bouquets to the market and having rows of u-pick zinnias but I think sewing has one my heart.  So for now I grow a few flowers each year, mostly the same kinds and keep my bouquets pretty simple. But you never really know what can happen… What are your favorite flowers to grow or buy from your local market?
