Studio + Spring

We arrived home about 2 weeks ago. It has been cold, grey and rainy but today the sun was shining and I think finally spring is in the air! The birds are back, the frogs are louder then ever and our property is so wet rain boots are a must. Luckily the path from our cabin to studio is dry but everywhere else mud and puddles are ever present. 

I have had a hard time getting back into the groove of working since our return from California. I have not been lacking the inspiration as I am fully charged in that area but finding time has been difficult. Owynn has had a hard transition back and then last week we were all sick and now finally just coming out of the fog. Transitions are hard but now finally I have begun working and have a plan. I think we are slowly getting back into the island life and feeling happy about the months ahead! 

I plan to open up the shop again in Early April. I had hoped to open it up sooner but a new goal of mine is to be realistic. I am trying to not over burden myself with unrealistic goals because lets me honest life with a kiddo is hard work and also running a business at the same time is double hard work. Once too many items get added to the to-do list I start to crumble. So slowly I am getting back to work and taking these next few weeks for preparing the new collection which I will share more about soon! Just wanted to stop in and say hi!
