Rivers and Mountains

A little collage of our trip. I love taking pictures when away but alway have a hard time editing out any so hence the over load of photos. I usually take the approach less is more when posting and sharing photos but sometimes I want to remember all the parts so this time I am posting them all.

I think leaving home and having a change of scenery is so important. Even if it is just packing up the car and driving to the next county over to camp at the park does the trick. As a family and as couple we get so wrapped up in the day to day routine that we forget to have fun together. When we are home we have so much to do around the land and with our businesses we forgot to take the time to enjoy each other. So yes, this trip was challenging at times with the little one but it was so important for our family to have fun and be reminded of why we love each other. So I guess all I would say is next time you are in a relationship rut or feeling a lack of creative inspiration take a break and switch things up!
