First Frost 

Earlier this week we had our first frost. It then stayed cold and sunny all week and I have enjoyed it so much. Nothing more uplifting on these short days then the sun shinning in the cabin in the morning. In the Northwest this is rare to have such a long period of sunshine, low temperatures and no rain clouds in sight. It means afternoon showers are a must at our home as the outside bath-house is far too cold in the early or late hours of the day but still I would go for this weather more often if I had a choice. The crunchy and sparkling ground caught my eye this morning while out doing the chores so I brought my camera along and took a few snaps along the way.
