Moonshadow

 This past December Kyra and I made some coco body butter for our families for Christmas. We have made Salve in the past with our homegrown calendula, almond oil and beeswax but this time we were wanting a thicker cream more appropriate for the winter skin. So we decided to combine our past butter cream experiments and came up with this combination. Shea & cocoa butter, coconut & almond oil. We also used an immersion blender which was amazing. It made the cream turn from a bland color and watery consistency to a thick and pretty deep cream color. We still have some tweaking to do to come up with the perfecter winter body cream but I think it turned out pretty nice. The cocoa butter smells like chocolate so it adds a very nice scent to the mix! Did you make any gifts this year? Any that you were super excited about?
