whale tales

 We walked out to my favorite spot last night for a picnic and to enjoy the last night of August. It was so beautiful and right as the sun was heading down for the night 2 pods of orca whales swam right by us. Heading for the setting sun. You could hear them breathing each time they would come up. What magical creatures! I have not seen whales for a few years so it was pretty amazing. As a young child we used to see them more often but over the years there habitat has become ruined by us humans and our pollutants of noise and chemicals. It is a real shame but luckily we have a great effort of people on these islands to save our precious sea life. Happy September All!
