Vegetable Tanned Tote

My sister in law bought the vegetable tanned tote this spring from my shop. She brought it with her on her last visit and I was totally amazed by the new look of the bag. The leather had become so soft and supple, it turned into a gorgeous golden color, and had unique marks giving it a look of its own. I choose to work with this leather because of it raw condition and lack of chemicals used during the tanning process. But it is a little stiff to begin with so I was pleased to see how nicely it softens up and gains character thru its use.
