May Day

 

May 1st, a day of celebrating the flowers. So many sweet scents in the air. The cottonwood trees and wild rose bushes smell the strongest, deep inhales as I walk by those sweet scents. Old homesteads are remembered by there old blooming fruit trees. I wonder as I walk past, who picked the blossoms and then fruit from these trees long ago. So much history can be told by the plant life.
