Egg Collecting

Our hens started laying eggs. It has been pretty nice to not worry about purchasing eggs at the market. Once less expense. Alex made 2 nesting boxes that are super easy to get into. You just lift a lid and theres the eggs. Pretty different then our last chicken house which was always a challenge reaching the eggs. Pretty happy chickens I think, roaming the fields all day feasting on whatever comes their way. So far we have not had much problem with predators but always a worry here. The eagles sure are coming around a lot.
Well lets hope they survive their first spring.
