Piper's Bag

Once a week my dear friend Piper comes down to the south end of Lopez to help with cutting, ironing and pinning of Barnacle Bags. The cabin is always too hot with our big wood stove, tunes are playing and coffee is drank but work gets done. This past month Piper designed a bag in return for hours instead of pay. A zippered top backpack was her design. I decided to take this time to start making my own waxed canvas straps. The bag turned out really nice and now I am determined to come out with a backpack design this winter that has my own waxed canvas straps on it. Many ideas in this head of mine hopefully in the new year I can create these thoughts into productive work and new designs.
