our cabin

We spent the weekend at our cabin, it is almost ready for us to move in.
Water is our last task to figure out before we can fully move down to our property.
We bought our land last fall. It was a raw piece of land and has slowly been transformed into a sweet little homestead. Alex has spent endless hours moving the cabin and renovating it. New windows, wiring, flooring, insulation and sheet rock. It was a old cabin built in the early 1900's, it was used by the local fisherman. Now after 3 moves it is about to start a whole new life. It is pretty sweet thinking of all the lives that have lived in it before us. It is small and my sewing studio will be in it for the first year but it will be warm and cozy.
