Taking A Break

Hello All, the past 3 days I have been debating with the idea of closing down my Etsy shop for a few weeks. I keep going back and forth on the idea. But today after much deliberation I think it is needed. I have many orders to catch up on and feel like if I do not take a break away from my Etsy shop then I will never get time to create my new designs, enjoy the summer, plant a garden, catch up with friends and go for an adventure to another island. The past 3 months I have totally devoted all my time to my business. It has been great and feels so good to be enjoying what I do for a living. But I also need to learn balance. I look forward to this time as giving me new energy, fresh persecutive and more creativity. But during this time I will be blogging and looking forward to that. For me each post is a time for calmness and collectiveness. It helps me organize my thoughts and views on the day. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful readers and supportive people of my business. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about this time away from the shop. 

Barnacle Bags will be closed from June 26th to July 12th.
