City Lights

New York there is the constant rumble outside. I miss the silence of back home. The J M Z trains crossing the Williamsburg bridge is my evening and morning view. Back home it is the deep rumble of the ferry's engine and here it is the high pitch subways passing that awake me. I have found my rhythm here and really do not think of home often, I think partly because it is such a contrast to here. I have so many new ideas stored in my mind for my bags and business. I think the break away from my sewing machine has been good. Taking time away from your daily life is so important. It gives perspective and a new positive view of life! I love my island and cant wait to return to it and begin putting my ideas into action.
