While checking my Etsy shop today I noticed a blog post about storing food. I usually do not read these posts but this one caught my eye. So I clicked on it and watched this cute video of Jihyun Ryou explaining her beautiful idea that comes from traditional knowledge of preserving food without a fridge. Simple ideas like storing root veggies vertical, like how they grown in the ground instead of storing them horizontally where they tend to lose energy. Also she talks about how we hide our food, we stuff our refrigerators full of food and forget what is in them and before we know it our food has gone bad. So in her approach storing food visible to the eye makes you use all your food and not let it go to waste. Click here to learn more about "saving food from your refrigerator." I just love this idea and the wooden units are quite artistic.
