For the month of October every Tuesday I am showing off my creative friends from the Island!
Large vibrant gardens are not a rare thing in the summer on Lopez Island, most of my friends had a garden this year and this September there was a great abundance of fresh local food around. It was great! But Kyra and Ralphs garden always surprised me. Every visit it had grown immensely, they grew unique veggies, herbs and grains. They grew grains this year for saving seed so next year they could have a large crop of quinoa, oats, barley and more!
